HOG Chapter monthly meeting - Cancelled due to DAV run
Please participate in DAV Ride
July's Chapter Meeting on the 5th will be at High Country, this is the same
day as the D.A.V. ride. There will be a hand out available with any
pertinent information for the month, but no official meeting.
Registration for the D.A.V. ride starts at 9:30 for the regular ride
cost is $20.00 per person.
If you are participating in the V.I.P. ride, see Dave Pryzgocki at High
Country to pre-register, space is limited with only a few openings
available. (303)833-6777 The V.I.P. ride will depart from High Country
at 8:30 a.m.

We will have a new meeting place starting with the August 2nd Chapter
Meeting
New Time & Location: Shorty's BBQ - 3rd & Main Street, Longmont with plenty
of free parking behind the building.
Buffet Lunch will be available at Noon, upstairs in the old "Dickens Opera
House"
Lunch at 12:00 - Meeting will begin at 1:00 - Chapter Ride to follow
This will be an opportunity for those that sleep late or work Saturday
mornings to be able to make the meeting. You can go for a morning
ride and stop for
lunch and the meeting, or go to lunch and a meeting then go for a ride or go
on two rides.
It is difficult to meet everyone's schedule needs and we hope that this
works for most people.
Shorty's has agreed to provide a "Shorty's" sandwich style buffet at $ 7.00
a plate including two meats, bread, sauces, cole slaw, baked beans and a cookie.
Pork shoulder and brisket but we can change up from time to time if needed.
Chicken, sausages, etc. Bartender and cash bar provided.

How to help a family this holiday season…
1. “Giving Tree”: Grab a star off the “Giving
Tree” at the High Country dealership. Purchase the gift
and bring it back, unwrapped, to the toy box by the tree.
2. Santa Sleigh Run: Dec. 1st, 2007. Participate! This fun event
starts at the High Country dealership at 10am. Weather permitting;
we’ll ride as a parade to the Moose lodge in Longmont where
we’ll enjoy good food, great music, a silent auction and
fun door prizes!
3. Direct: Send directly to the Safehouse Progressive Alliance
for Nonviolence at 835 North St. Boulder, CO 80304 (check or credit
card)
4. Other needed items: purchase or gather other helpful items:
- Gift cards (Target, King Soopers, Safeway,
Michael's)
- Women & children’s socks (all sizes)
- Tooth brushes/paste (women and children)
- Cleaning supplies
- Shampoo
- Hand or Bath soaps
- Hair supplies (brushes, combs etc.)
- Alarm clocks (small, AA –Battery type)
- Cold medicines, pain relievers
- 2008 day timers
- Journals with pens
- Winter hats/gloves/scarves
The Ladies of Harley will be stuffing stockings for women and children
with essential items, drop off items at High Country Harley Davidson,
there is a box set up by the tree.
Every little thing will help the families we work with at the
