open pool tournament. This event has been a great success. |

High Country Chapter Colorado #422 #422 is please to announce its
4th anal pool tournament. The tournament is open to the general public.
Registration is limited to the first 32 entrants. Cash prizes will be
awarded to the first four places and there will be a drawing for a cash
prize for 5 thru 8th place finishers. 75% of the entry fee will be awarded
as cash prizes.
In addition to the cash prizes, there will be a 50/50 drawing, and

When, Where, The Details
- 26 Mar2005
- Rev Buzzweeds, Dacona
- Registration at noon
- First break at 1:00pm
- Single Elimination tournament
- House Rules
- $10 entrance fee
- at least 75% of funds returned to players
- Limit of 32 players
- 1st, 2,3,4 place cash prizes
- drawing for a cash prize for 5 thru 8th place
The Rules
- officials will assign all tables to be played on.
- blind draw with byes for brackets.
- coin toss starts all games, winner to choose break
or no break.
- on break or scratch, any part of the cue ball will
not be over the 2nd diamond line
- you must take suit of ball dropped on break even
if you do not drop the follow shot. it does not go back to choice
- if you drop 1 or more of each on the break, it is
choice, if you miss the follow, it is still choice
- if any part of any ball is touching the 2nd diamond
line it is considered in the "kitchen" for scratch shots
- you must call "all" shots, you do not
have to call rails
- you may use opponents ball(s) in combo as long as
you hit your ball first
- you may use 8 ball (neutral) in any order
- you may call the 8 ball off the opponents ball
- miscue breaks will be re-racked as long as nothing
goes in (judges discretion)
- 2 miscues in a row, re-rack and switch the break
- if the cue ball moves more than 2" it is considered
a valid shot
- accidental moving of balls will be replaced as close
to the original position as possible
- absolutely no jump shots allowed
- any ball (other than the cue) that travels off the
table will be spotted on the rack spot
- if another ball is obstructing the rack spot the
ball will be placed directly behind as close to the rack spot as possible
- judges are gods for a day, their words
are law.
