Santa's Sleigh Run
Santa's Sleigh run 2005 - Lisa Fierer of SafeHouse writes:
"High Country Harley Owner’s Group hosted the 11h Annual Santa’s Sleigh Run Toy Ride benefiting Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence. On December 3rd, 2005, over 100 riders participated for a frosty, yet festive ride from High Country Harley Davidson in Fredrick, Colorado, to the Moose Lodge in Longmont.
Over $3,000.00 was raised and over $1500 in toys were donated to the Safehouse.
This generous support helps Safehouse to offer much-needed services to victims of domestic abuse in Boulder and Broomfield Counties and to provide toys for children who may not have otherwise received gifts this holiday season.
Heartfelt thanks goes out to all of the organizers, participants, volunteers, and supporters of this event: ConAgra,
La Mariposa Restaurant,

Santa's Sleigh run 2004 - Lisa Fierer of SafeHouse writes:

On December 5th, 2004 over 150 riders participated for a chilly, and festive ride from High Country Harley Davidson in Fredrick, Colorado, to the Moose Lodge in Longmont.
Over $2000.00 was raised and over $1500 in toys were donated to the Safehouse.
This generous support helps Safehouse to offer much-needed services to victims of domestic abuse in Boulder and Broomfield Counties and to provide toys for children who may not have otherwise received gifts this holiday season.
Heartfelt thanks goes out to all of the organizers, participants, volunteers, and supporters of this event: American Dance Band, American Iron Magazine,Brother’s Plumbing, Boulder Toyota ,Cingato Jewelry, Colorado State Patrol, ConAgra Foods, Costco, Creation Chamber, Die Hard Saloon, Frederick Police Department, High Country Harley Davidson, Longmont Emergency Unit, Longmont Police Department, Lucky’s Market, Michael Lichter Studio,Millennium Harvest House, Moose Lodge #1548, Nicolo’s Pizza, Pump House Brewery,Pete’s Place, and Postnet on Arapahoe and 95th.
Prior to 2004, The Santa's Sleigh run, hosted by ABATE #13 and High CountryHOG raised toys and money for the Longmont Childrens Home:
ABATE
District 13 was the originator of the Longmont Santa's
Sleigh run as a fund raiser for the Mountain States Children's
Home. High Country HOG chapter provided volunteers
and assistance during the event(s).
Year after year the members came out on a cold winter day for
the kids, donating toys for the teenagers, and having a great
meal, provided by ABATE district 13. Then the members would ride
to Mountain States Children's home to have a christmas party with
the kids. Playing game, eating cake, and giving the kids a ride
on a Harley. I can personally say that the parties at the home
were very rewarding to me. |

Safehouse, as the annual Santa's Sleigh run's benefactor.
