2007 LOH Chili CookOff
The LOH Chili Cookoff began in 2004 as a fund raiser for the Longmont Humane Society, with a local competition for best red and green chili and best dessert. As the years have gone on, vendors have begun flocking to the event to help the Longmont Humane Society. Longmont Humane Society is a private, non-profit organization dedicated
to the protection of animals. We provide temporary shelter to thousands
of animals every year: dogs, cats, small mammals, and birds who are lost,
abandoned, or surrendered. Loving attention, nutritious food, meticulous
health care and daily exercise are standard parts of the high-quality

The LOH Chili Cookoff was held Saturday October 13th at High Country Harley - Davidson Frederick, Co. All Proceeds to Benefit the Longmont Humane Society. HOG chapter members brought their Chili crock-pots or their desserts for judging and consumption with a $5.00 entry fee. There was door prizes – Fun – and free beer. A $5.00 donation for the Chili lunch started at noon. There was a $5.00 donation for the poker run that began at 10-12:30am, and there was a limited quantity of stuffed animals for a $5.00 donation.
