Chapter meeting on July 2, 2003
Chapter meetings
Our chapter meetings are held monthly at Los Palmeras, 1950 N. Main in Longmont. They are the first Wednesday of every month except Sturgis time in August. We start congregating about 6:00pm for diner and socializing, the business part starts at 7:00pm for about 45 minutes. Please stop in to one and introduce yourself. We hold drawings for prizes, catch up with old friends & new alike, and get some great ideas on rides and events members have experienced.
United We Ride
The "United We Ride" event is important to our Chapter. High Country HOG Chapter as been a key participant from the very first event (Picture shown on the top of our web page as the chapter arrives at Coors field in 2001). A flyer from this year's event can be seen by clicking on this link
High Country HOG Chapter was one of the key organizing HOG Chapters in the Disaster Relief fund raising event for NYC that was held in Denver on Oct. 21st, 2001. It was estimated that 4000-5000 motorcycles participates in the $39,000 fund raising event that roared out of the Coors Field parking lot and circled Denver to show a United support of the NYC & Pentagon victims. High Country HOG Chapter Director Dave Przygocki was instrumental in the organization and success of the fund raiser. Approximately a dozen dedicated High Country HOG Chapter members left Longmont before 6am to volunteer at the event doing signups and registrations. Fort Collins, Cheyenne, and Greeley HOG chapters meet at the High Country Harley-Davidson shop at 8am to parade to Coors field in a group approximately 300 strong.
