Adopt A Soldier:
In support of the Military Personnel Family Support Group, High Country HD/HOG is collecting donations of items listed below and money to pay for shipping costs. There is a box decorated and labeled going into High Country HD/Buell to collect these items. It will be emptied and taken to the MPFS at the Longmont VFW for their packaging & shipping every Monday. Volunteers to package are welcome. Please put money, labeled SOLDIERS in the locked HOG Box in the customer lounge at High Country Harley-Davidson/Buell.

Tapped out from all the charity events this summer?
We also encourage adopting a soldier who may not otherwise get much mail from home. This means writing letters telling them of your appreciation, news from home, notes from your children, personal stories of interest, and sending Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas cards. You can also drop these in the box.

PopTarts, crackers, granola & breakfast bars, fruit roll-ups, beef or elk jerky, dried fruit, cookies, hard candies, gum, powdered drink mixes, bug repellent, sun screen, all personal hygiene items, books, magazines, (EasyRiders, Hot Bike, American Rider, American Iron Mag) puzzle books, batteries, pens, stationary, stamps, local items such as event or Harley T-shirts, baseball caps, and Colorado souvenirs.
