- Lee Hull (2005 Assistant Direstor)
I was introduced to motorcycles through my big sister’s
boyfriend in San Diego, (I will never forget that 1st day! The
porch incident) and it never left my blood. I married the love
of my life when I was 19 and immediately started a family. I have
two great sons, and a beautiful grandson. While we were raising
our sons, a Harley never quite fit into the budget; those Nike
Air Jordan’s wore out faster than the AMF Harley’s
lost oil. I had a dirt bike for a while, not very good on the
bones, and the Yamaha Virago just didn’t quite do the trick.
Lo and behold the day finally came when the kids were out on
their own, and I was ready for something exciting in my life.
I found an 03 Fat Boy that I couldn’t live without.
After a couple of really long weeks, waiting for delivery at the
end of the production season, it finally arrived, and it was really
worth the wait.
I have found a piece of heaven when we are out on my HOG. And
when I am not on it, I am usually thinking about being on it.
I have had a lot of fun adding chrome, and chrome and one more
piece of chrome over the last year and a half. (Can you ever have
too much chrome?)
High Country Harley Owners Group has been more fun than I ever
anticipated. I have been a bit of a loner over the years and never
knew what I was missing out on until I became involved with this
great bunch of people. I have made the best friends over such
a short time that I am amazed that I could be so fortunate.
I am working on growing our membership this year, I want everyone
to have the opportunity I have had to enjoy this great group.
If you have any questions about membership please feel free to
contact me.
Oh Yeah, one more thing, I Love Volunteers!
