High Country HOG Chapter Officers

Eric2004, 5, 6 and 2007 Safety Officer - Eric Sondeen

From the Detroit African-American Motorcyle Clubs with tricked out Duo-Glides, to his own 1970 Triumph TR6R, the sprouting teen Eric loved motorcycles. Then Earth Day hit and the Ann Arbor kid went granola on us.

Flash forward 30 years and we find this career firefighter/paramedic back into biking with H-D’s first offering of the Fire Fighter Special Edition Ultra. Starting this year with 61,000 miles on the 2002 bike’s clock, Eric like others, found that biking offers the freedom, travel, and that joy of life motorcyclists have a hard time explaining to others.

A medic, Eric loves the culture of safety found at High Country HOG. “Safety is everyone’s business”. If you have any suggestions for improving the safety of our HOG Chapter, please contact Eric or your other officers. BY THE WAY.... WHAT PRESSURE ARE YOUR TIRES AT **TODAY**? Keep your equipment, your riding, and most importantly, your attitude, “SAFE”!

High Country HOG annually offers an Experienced Rider Class through Motorcycle Safety Foundation (ABATEofColo.org) and a “Managing Emergencies for Motorcyclists” classroom.
